Manchester City have soared to the head of the Champions League betting after a kind last-16 draw against Basel and Pep Guardiola's stars are 50-1 with bet365 to claim a grand slam of major trophies this season.

Sunday's victory at Manchester United put City 11 points clear in the Premier League and Paddy Power and Betfred have already paid out on them winning the title.

The Citizens are also 9-4 favourites for the League Cup, in which they face Leicester in the quarter-finals, and 9-2 jollies to lift the FA Cup. At the start of the season, bet365 were offering 500-1 about them winning all four major trophies.

City have been slashed to 3-1 to rule Europe, from 5-1 before the Champions League draw was made. Paris St-Germain had been 7-2 favourites after the group stage but they were shunted out to 5-1 after being paired with holders Real Madrid.

PSG are 5-6 to win that glamour tie while Zinedine Zidane's Real are evens to keep alive their chances of completing a hat-trick of Champions League titles.

Whereas Manchester City are hot favourites to advance to the quarter-finals, Chelsea and Tottenham must tackle two of the giants of European football in the last 16.

Chelsea, who missed the chance to top their group when drawing 1-1 with Atletico Madrid on matchday six, are 5-2 to knock out Barcelona while Spurs are 6-5 to get past last season's beaten finalists Juventus.

Understandably given those tough assignments, the London clubs have taken a walk in the outright market. Both were 20-1 chances before the draw but Chelsea are now 33-1 with Tottenham 25-1.

Manchester United, who face Sevilla, and Liverpool, who were drawn against Porto, should be happier with their last-16 tasks and Hills go 15-2 that all five English clubs qualify for the quarter-finals.

Bet365 have trimmed an English winner of the competition from 6-4 to 11-8 and an all-Premier League final is 11-2 with Sky Bet. It is 66-1 with Betfred that all four semi-finalists are from England.

Guardiola's former club Bayern Munich will also have enjoyed the draw – the German champions face a date with Besiktas and have been cut from 15-2 to 5-1 to win the Champions League. Roma are 50-1 from 66-1 after being drawn against Shakhtar Donetsk.

"Manchester City could not have picked a better draw for themselves in the last 16," said Coral spokesman John Hill, whose firm make City just 1-2 to win the first leg in Switzerland.

Tottenham are 3-1 with Coral to gain a first-leg advantage over Juventus in Turin and Chelsea are 15-8 for victory against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal are 6-1 to win the Europa League after being drawn against Swedish surprise packages Ostersunds in the last 32. Celtic face Zenit St Petersburg. Atletico Madrid are the 9-2 favourites.
