Jose Mourinho cut to be first boss to lose his job
Liverpool attract support for Premier League title
Jose Mourinho has been cut from 7-1 to 11-2 by Sky Bet to be the first Premier League manager to go after watching Manchester United slump to a 4-1 loss to Liverpool in their International Champions Cup match in Michigan on Saturday night.
The Portuguese was the first manager to go in the 2015-16 season, departing Chelsea in December 2015 after the Blues had lost nine of 16 league games.
Mourinho will be hoping to address some of United's problems by making a couple of signings and is known to be targeting a central defender.
Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire have been mentioned as likely targets and are 4-9 and 8-11 with Paddy Power to join United this summer.
Paddy Power make Mauricio Pochettino 4-1 favourite to be United's next manager and offer 15-2 about Zinedine Zidane and 9-1 Carlo Ancelotti.
Liverpool's victory – courtesy of penalties from Sadio Mane and Sheyi Ojo and goals from Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri – increased the feelgood factor at the club.
Jurgen Klopp's men were 2-1 winners against Manchester City on Thursday and their latest victory promoted Sky Bet to trim the Reds' Premier League title odds from 9-2 to 4-1.
Tottenham came from behind to draw 2-2 with Barcelona in Pasadena before losing 5-3 on penalties.
Son Hueng-Min and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou were on target for Spurs but there was some bad news with Moussa Sissoko sustaining a slight hamstring injury in the first half.
Spurs were already light in midfield with Victor Wanyama (knee), Harry Winks and Josh Onomah injured and Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier not due to return to training until five days before the start of the Premier League season.
Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Inter in Nice before winning the penalty shootout 5-4.
Pedro netted for the Blues, who continue to be without World Cup contingent Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante, Thibaut Courtois, Willian, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi.
