Stoke's Championship playoff push has stalled after successive home defeats but the Potters can bounce back by defeating struggling Hull.

Three of Stoke's last four league wins were achieved on the road and they travel to Hull with a stronger squad because veteran striker Steven Fletcher and creative midfielder Mario Vrancic have been back in training.

Potters' manager Michael O'Neill misses the game after testing positive for Covid but he has a decent group to choose from and will be aiming for nothing less than three points.

Hull manager Grant McCann has a more difficult selection to face after one of his first-team regulars, powerful striker Josh Magennis, sealed a move to League One highflyers Wigan.

McCann's injury-hit side put up a decent show at home to Everton in the FA Cup third round, losing 3-2 after extra-time, but they have gone four games without success in the league and may struggle to stop the rot.
