Both of the outsiders appeal in Friday's FAI Cup semi-finals.
The belief that Bohemians should swat Waterford aside belies recent form. The Blues are a totally different side under Marc Bircham and a run of seven league wins from their last 11 games is staggering - their only defeats in that time came away to St Patrick's and Shamrock Rovers.
Bohs have been limping along to the extent that they are now only seven points ahead of Waterford, and they look far too short having already lost 11 league games.
Dundalk, meanwhile, have turned it on of late, hammering Sligo before beating Shamrock Rovers and nearly winning at Bohemians. St Patrick's will be tough to beat but the Lilywhites look the value.
This week's league games in both tiers are of little importance bar Sligo's visit to Finn Harps. The Bit O'Red have been in poor shape of late and Harps will sense blood, with a positive result of massive importance in their battle against the drop.
