The season may be drawing to a close but Ebbsfleet and Sutton have plenty to play for when they meet at Stonebridge Road.

The Fleet have been in superb form, winning eight of their last 11 while drawing the other three, and having reached seventh spot they have become unlikely playoff contenders.

Sutton meanwhile are stumbling at the wrong time, having lost four of their last five games but are still just a point off third with a good chance of securing a first-round bye in the playoffs.

An open game is likely with both teams desperate to claim maximum points, so expect them to find the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Aldershot could confirm their playoff place and increase their chances of a bye with a win over Barrow.

The Shots have been struggling lately, winning just four of their last 12 matches, but they were boosted by a cagey win over Gateshead in midweek which saw them earn their third shutout victory in their past four matches at the Recreation Ground.

Barrow have crawled out of the relegation zone by winning two of their last three, but both were close results against poor opposition so stopping Aldershot could be too much to ask for Adrian Pennock’s men.

A positive result for Barrow could condemn Torquay to relegation no matter how they fare against Hartlepool, with the Gulls seven points from safety with three games to go and in need of a miracle to survive.

Both sides have won four of their last seven so a tight encounter is expected, but Hartlepool proved their worth following a close win over Leyton Orient and should have enough to condemn the Devon side to the drop.
