Chelsea are 8-1 to retain their Premier League title after two goals from Marcos Alonso gave the champions a 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley.

The Blues, hit by suspensions after their shock home defeat to Burnley on the opening weekend, were 11-4 outsiders but Alonso pounced in the 88th minute to claim the points in the London derby.

The Spaniard – an 18-1 chance to score first – had broken the deadlock with a brilliant free-kick in the first half but an own goal from Michy Batshuayi made it 1-1 with eight minutes remaining.

Tottenham are 10-1 for the title and 8-11 to finish in the top four but the top of the Premier League betting is dominated by the Manchester clubs with City, who host Everton tonight, 11-8 to win the league and United 9-4.

Huddersfield are 13-8 for relegation after making it two wins out of two in the top flight thanks to Aaron Mooy’s superb strike against fellow promoted club Newcastle.

Rafa Benitez’s Magpies, who lost to Tottenham in their first game of the season, are 5-2 to go straight back down to the Sky Bet Championship while the Terriers are 11-1 with Coral for a top-half finish.

David Wagner’s Huddersfield had been 4-6 ante-post favourites for relegation but Betway now make the playoff winners 8-15 to stay up this season.

Harry Kane was denied by the post against Chelsea and is out to 4-1 to win the Golden Boot. Bet365 make Romelu Lukaku their 2-1 favourite.
