Aston Villa v Rotherham
One point separates Aston Villa from Rotherham in the Sky Bet Championship table but there could be a big class gap between the teams at Villa Park.

Villa have gone six games without a victory but should have a spring in their step after Conor Hourihane's injury-time free kick rescued a 1-1 draw at Blackburn on Saturday.

Hourihane's goal was celebrated as if it was a winner and it was a welcome relief for manager Steve Bruce, who had been coming under pressure.

Bruce knows that it is just a start and is aware that patience will be wearing thin if their winless run is extended further.

Survival is the main aim for Rotherham and they are making a decent fist of the division, having won three of seven games.

However, they haven't secured any points on their travels and anything they get at Villa will be seen as a bonus.

With one of the one of the lowest budgets in the division, Rotherham know there will be times when they are simply outclassed, and there is a danger of that happening against Villa, who have as much firepower as any team in the division.

Adding loanees Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham to the mix has ensured Villa will not be short of quality attacking options.

Both made their Villa debuts at Blackburn and they can play their part in mauling the Millers.

Recommendation
Aston Villa -1 on Asian handicap

Wigan v Hull
Wigan were given the runaround in a 2-0 loss at Brentford on Saturday and they may not be fully recovered by the time they take on Hull at the DW Stadium.

Losing to a side of Brentford's quality is no disgrace and Wigan's task was made especially hard when midfielder Sam Morsy was dismissed in the 58th minute.

However, Paul Cook's men had to work had to keep the score respectable and the loss of Morsy to a one-match ban is a major blow.

Hull had a less stressful weekend, easing to a 2-0 success at home to lowly Ipswich and releasing some of the pressure on manager Nigel Adkins.

They have lost just one of their last eight away games and look value to grab at least a point.

Recommendation
Hull or draw double chance
