Women's Super League predictions
The last of Chelsea Women's four successive games against Manchester City took place on Thursday in the Women's Champions League and they could be feeling the effects of their recent testing schedule, despite their 3-0 midweek win.
The Blues are strolling towards the WSL title in their first season under Sonia Bompastor but there is every chance they might ease up this week after an energy-sapping sequence of high-pressure fixtures in the League Cup final and Champions League.
And, although they have shipped just 11 goals in the league this term, they could be breached by a determined West Ham side.
West Ham have scored 23 goals in 17 matches – the most outside of the top five – and found the net in a 4-3 defeat to Arsenal and 1-1 draw with City earlier this month, so both teams to score looks a decent bet at odds-against.
Aston Villa are having a dismal season, with just two wins to their name and they are only one point above the league's relegation spot.
Having lost their last six WSL contests, shipping 15 times in the process, they are not showing any signs of turning things around and should be opposed against Liverpool.
The Reds are not having the best campaign either, but won their last home game 3-1 against Manchester United and should be too strong for Villa.
