Preview

Arsenal secured a massive three points on the opening weekend of the Women's Super League with a 3-2 win over champions Chelsea in an entertaining game at the Emirates last week.

But the Gunners will still have to be on their guard against Reading and it is possible the Royals can breach their defence on Sunday.

Two goals from Beth Mead proved the difference against Emma Hayes's team last week, but Reading were excellent in the opening stages of their 2-0 defeat at Manchester United, and they can make their mark, especially if Arsenal bounce after such a demanding performance.

It could be worth backing both teams to score at the Madejski Stadium and while there are plenty of teams going off at short prices this weekend, Brighton could be a good investment at Birmingham on Sunday.

The Seagulls are moving in the right direction under the experienced guidance of Hope Powell and, after a 2-0 victory over West Ham last week, they should have too much for Birmingham.

The Blues continued their run of 15 WSL games without a win when they lost 1-0 at Tottenham last week, and Spurs should have scored more goals after dominating throughout.
