Preview

After this weekend's round of matches, the Women's Super League will take a three-week break and few teams will be more desperate to head into the hiatus with a win than Manchester City.

The Citizens have made a poor start to the Super League season with two wins from seven matches but their losses tend to have come against the bigger sides and they are 1-10 to get the better of Aston Villa on Saturday.

At Leigh Sports Village on Sunday, though, Manchester United host Arsenal in what should be a more competitive affair.

While the Gunners lead the way in the standings, United are pushing for a top-three berth and are fresh from victory over rivals City in the FA WSL Cup group stage.

But Arsenal should represent a step-up in quality for Marc Skinner's side and the Londoners look good value at 13-8 to win to nil.

Arsenal shot-stopper Manuela Zinsberger has kept more clean sheets (five) than any other keeper in the WSL this term and the club have shut out Aston Villa, Everton, Hoffenheim, Brighton, West Ham and Danish side Koge since the start of October.
