Betting preview

There are two live TV offerings from the Women's Super League this weekend, but neither Chelsea's trip to Tottenham nor Arsenal's visit to Everton on Sunday are seen as particularly competitive and offer little from a betting perspective.

Instead, punters may be better off concentrating on Saturday's sole match when bottom side Birmingham head to Brighton.

The Blues have collected just five points all season - three of which came in a shock 2-0 win over the Gunners - and they could be in line for a difficult afternoon on the south coast.

It could be worth taking the 13-8 available about the Seagulls scoring more than two goals in their 2pm showdown - Birmingham have shipped at least twice in seven of their last ten league away games.

Hope Powell's Brighton have already put five past City in the reverse fixture and are capable of taking a firm grip of this game too.

They have failed to score in four of their last five home games, but those matches were against the big four of Arsenal, Chelsea and the two Manchester clubs.

The other match in that run was a 4-1 victory over Reading and they could soon get into the swing of things against a team who have conceded 43 goals in their 18 league matches.
