WSL preview

Women’s Super League fans are treated to a blockbuster showing of matches on Sunday with Chelsea taking on Manchester United before the north London and Merseyside derbies.

Arsenal’s away fixture with Tottenham could offer the best value of those three and punters are advised to back the Gunners to be leading at the break and go on to win the contest.

Joe Montemurro’s side have won four of their five league assignments, edging highflyers Manchester City 1-0 at the end of October, and they have been scoring for fun on the road this term, steering four past Fiorentina, five past London City and the same number past Slavia Prague.

Brighton host Birmingham City and Blues could also be worth a bet.

The Midlands side have coped well with the loss of Ellen White in the summer, with Lucy Staniforth and Rachel Williams shouldering the goalscoring burden.

They have only one league win to their name but have been superb in the WSL Cup and can see off winless Albion.
