Kansas C v Real Salt Lake:
MLS Conference semi-final second leg

Sunday from 8pm

Sporting Kansas City have been trimmed to 7-2 for the MLS Cup and they can secure a place in the Western Conference finals with a second-leg victory over Real Salt Lake.

The hosts, formerly known as the Wizards, salvaged a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the semi-final and can capitalise on the absence of a key player for the Claret & Cobalt.

Albert Rusnak has notched ten goals for Salt Lake this term, including the opener in the first game, but is suspended for the second leg after picking up a yellow card.

Kansas City, who have netted in 18 of their last 19 games, are bolstered by the return of Seth Sinovic to their defence and should have enough in the final third to see off Salt Lake.

Damir Kreilach's brace in the away side's playoff triumph against Los Angeles highlighted the depth of their attacking quality, though, and they can notch a consolation.

It seems unjust that one of Atlanta or New York City will not feature in the Eastern Conference finals and the second leg of their semi-final could be a high-scoring affair.

United opted for a more reserved approach to scrape a 1-0 advantage and a crucial away goal in their first meeting but could be more expansive at home.

They were top scorers in the regular season with 70 goals and Josef Martinez, who bagged 31 of them, looks a value bet to register first.
