Celtic could edge out Aberdeen in their William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final and provide more Hampden heartache for the Dons.

The Pittodrie club were Brendan Rodgers' favourite opponents during his time at Parkhead - Aberdeen were runners-up in five of the seven trophies he won.

Aberdeen have raised their game significantly against the Old Firm this season. They've knocked Rangers out of both cups with wins at Hampden and Ibrox and also drew with Celtic at Parkhead.

But they could deeply regret the suspension of captain Graeme Shinnie, who is the heartbeat of Aberdeen.

And although Neil Lennon's side are nowhere near the force they once were, they should just have enough to put themselves one game away from a treble treble.
