Scottish Challenge Cup
BBC Alba, 4.10pm Sunday
It’s a battle of the Saints in Paisley and take the Welsh version to get one over the Scots when St Mirren host The New Saints.

TNS may have lost their 31-match unbeaten run in their last game when they went down to Carmarthen last week, but they will be desperate to reach the Challenge Cup Final to make amends.

The two sides have had vastly contrasting fortunes this season – while TNS were breaking a world record for 27 consecutive wins, St Mirren are in a huge battle to retain their Ladbrokes Championship status.

Manager Jack Ross has greatly improved things, but the league is their priority and the Welsh champions should really be a fair bit better than the Scottish Saints.

Recommendation
The New Saints

Team news
St Mirren will be missing the suspended Gary McKenzie. Cammy Smith and Josh Todd are cup-tied and Lewis McLear and Ben Gordon are out injured.

TNS boss Craig Harrison should have a full squad to choose from after Ryan Brobbel shrugged off a knock.

Key stat
TNS have already won two away games by three goals in this competition
