Thursday football tips: Napoli aiming to return to the top of the table

Napoli host Bologna Thursday night on BT Sport 1, with the Neapolitans aiming to keep pace with Milan at the top of the Serie A table.

Napoli's 100 per cent winning start to the Serie A campaign came to an end with a goalless draw against Roma last time, but they are expected to go back to the top of the league by beating Bologna.

La Liga leaders Real Sociedad look a decent price to inflict a fifth defeat in six home games on Celta Vigo. Elsewhere in Spain Granada are expected to see off bottom side Getafe, while champions Atletico Madrid are a solid selection to avenge last season's loss to Levante.

Napoli v Bologna

Napoli are on a fantastic run at home, having gone 16 matches unbeaten at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. It would be a big surprise if Bologna can buck that trend, and with the visitors having conceded within 12 minutes in two of their last three road games, take Napoli to get on top early.

Real Sociedad to beat Celta Vigo

Real Sociedad may well have been replaced by Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table by the time they kick off against Celta Vigo, but they are a generous price to bounce back to the head of affairs after the game.

All three of Celta's wins this season came against teams in the relegation zone and they have lost four of their five home matches.

Sociedad are on a 12-game unbeaten run in all competitions and won 4-1 on their trip to Balaidos last season.
