Legia Warsaw lost 6-0 at home to Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League group-stage opener but the Poles improved throughout the competition to clinch a Europa League spot with a 1-0 win over Sporting Lisbon.

Legia’s scored four against Dortmund in Germany and also drew 3-3 with Real Madrid so they could be underrated against an Ajax side who won just one of their three away group games.
