Tottenham 7-2 to reach Champions League knockout stage

Tottenham still face an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages but at least they have given themselves a chance of progression and bookmakers rate Mauricio Pochettino's team 7-2 shots to reach the last 16.

Spurs, who needed two late Harry Kane goals at Wembley to come from behind to beat PSV Eindhoven 2-1 on Wednesday, were on their way out of the competition before the captain for the evening led by example to keep the Londoners alive in Europe's elite competition.

Pochettino's side need to beat Inter at home on matchday five to remain in the qualifying hunt and a 1-0 success or victory by a two-goal margin would put their Group B destiny in their own hands.

However, the final match is away to Barcelona, hence quotes of 7-2 even though the Catalans are already through following their 1-1 draw at Inter on Tuesday. They are also likely to have secured top spot before Spurs head to Camp Nou on December 11.
