National League 3pm Monday

Torquay have made a habit of great escapes since dropping to the National League in 2014, and while they are likely to struggle to pull off this one, the Gulls are having a real go and can score a vital victory over Woking.

United should be delighted to be back in Devon after playing four successive away games, but they picked up seven valuable points from the last three trips to Leyton Orient, Solihull and Chester.

It does their chances no harm that Woking have to make the long trek from Surrey just three days after giving their all in a heartbreaking 3-2 home loss to leaders Macclesfield, when they were crushed by an injury-time winner after a slog on a heavy pitch.

The Cards have an improved injury situation but they are winless in eight games now and the Gulls have found a potential saviour in loan striker Elliott Romain, who has scored four times since joining from Dagenham.

There's not much advantage to be had from backing the four fresh teams whose games were postponed on Friday as Ebbsfleet and Dover play each other, Tranmere might not have needed the extra rest to beat Solihull at home and Eastleigh still look to have a tough task at Aldershot.

Recommendation
Torquay
1pt 13-10 Coral, Hills, Ladbrokes
