Best Premier League bet

Aston Villa v Leicester
3pm Saturday

James Maddison's return to fitness has increased the competition for places in Leicester's attacking unit but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could rise to the challenge in Saturday's Premier League fixture at Aston Villa.

Dewsbury-Hall opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the Foxes' 2-1 defeat at Liverpool on December 30, with one of his three shots at goal, before a spell on the sidelines.

He returned to action in the 2-2 draw with Brighton, looking lively in an advanced role alongside Jamie Vardy, and should be even sharper after playing the whole of last weekend's FA Cup win at Walsall.

Best EFL bet

Millwall v Sunderland
3pm Saturday

Millwall and Sunderland kick off the weekend on the fringes of the Championship playoff zone and their clash at the Den could be more entertaining than the betting suggests.

Millwall's home form has been excellent, with eight wins in 13 league matches and just eight goals conceded on their own patch.

The Lions average 1.54 goals per game at home but their defensive record could be dented by a Sunderland side who have beaten highflying rivals Middlesbrough 2-0 and drawn 1-1 at Fulham in their last two outings.

An offside decision denied their 15-year-old substitute Chris Rigg a late winner at Craven Cottage and Tony Mowbray has bolstered his attack with the loan signing of highly-rated Leeds forward Joe Gelhardt.

The injury to top scorer Ross Stewart is a major setback for Sunderland but they have scored in 12 of their 14 away league fixtures, netting ten goals in their last five on the road, so over 2.5 goals is a tempting price.

Best European bet

Wolfsburg v Bayern Munich
Sky Sports Football, 4.30pm Sunday

Bayern Munich have resumed their Bundesliga campaign with three straight 1-1 draws so they will need to sharpen up their finishing on Sunday's trip to Wolfsburg.

The hosts thrashed Freiburg 6-0 and Hertha Berlin 5-0 in their first two games after the winter break but they lost 2-1 at Werder Bremen last weekend and should be wary of a Bayern backlash.

The German champions won the shots-on-target count 6-1 and 7-1 in their last two draws with Eintracht Frankfurt and Cologne and they may well edge a high-scoring encounter at the Volkswagen Arena.

Weekend accumulators

Banker
Inter
The Nerazzurri lost 3-2 to Milan in a thrilling Serie A derby in September but beat their city rivals 3-0 in last month's Super Cup and Milan have lost their two subsequent league games 4-0 and 5-2.

Blowout
Borussia Dortmund
BVB and Freiburg have both taken 34 points from their first 18 Bundesliga matches and Freiburg, who have responded well to last month's shock 6-0 defeat at Wolfsburg, can frustrate their hosts.

Accumulator
Brighton 4-11, Middlesbrough 4-7, Napoli 2-5, Inter Evs. £1 accumulator returns £5.98 with Coral.

Both teams to score
Games at Preston 17-20, Swansea 17-20, Bochum 4-7. £1 accumulator returns £5.37 with Hills.
