Stoke will be much happier after their comfortable 2-0 home win over Sunderland and can topple another relegation rival at the KCom Stadium.

Hull confounded the critics with their bright start to the season but a tough fight for survival is now on the cards. Last weekend’s 6-1 loss at Bournemouth extended their losing run to four league games, leaving them one point above the relegation zone. Their squad lacks quality and they are solid 8-11 shots for the drop.

Recommendation
Stoke
2pts 6-4 general

Team news
Hull
Defender Michael Dawson (knee) could make his first appearance of the season but Andy Robertson (calf) is out for up to eight weeks and Moses Odubajo (knee) is another long-term absentee.

Stoke
Phil Bardsley (hamstring) is a doubt and fellow right-back Glen Johnson (thigh) is definitely out.

Key stat
Hull have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight games
