Wolves vs Everton

Everton settled into their new home nicely, beating Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League and Mansfield by the same scoreline in the EFL Cup, and David Moyes's men are aiming for success on the road this weekend.
The Toffees face Wolves at Molineux, where the clubs will also meet in next month's EFL Cup third-round tie, and over 2.5 goals looks a good bet at odds-against.
Moyes is not renowned for his adventurous football and Everton started the campaign with a 1-0 loss at Leeds, who converted a late penalty.
But the arrivals of Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and highly rated Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling add zest to the midfield and Wolves's first two home results were a 4-0 loss to Manchester City and a 3-2 EFL Cup win over West Ham.
Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, whose late brace hurt the Hammers, is on Newcastle's shopping list but his teammates should cause problems for an Everton backline missing the injured Jarrad Branthwaite.

Oxford vs Coventry

After an unhappy year as Everton manager, Frank Lampard is reviving his reputation at Coventry and the Sky Blues' confidence is sky high going into their Championship fixture at Oxford.
Touched off by Sunderland in last season's playoff semi-finals, Cov had 18 shots at goal in a frustrating 0-0 draw with Hull on the opening weekend of term.
It didn't take long for the floodgates to open as they won 5-3 at Derby and thrashed QPR 7-1 in their next two league matches and they should add to their goal tally against struggling Oxford.
Coventry scored with seven of their eight shots on target against QPR so punters may be best off swerving the flashy correct scores this weekend, instead backing the visitors to win a game featuring at least goals.
Oxford have lost their first three league matches and found no respite in the EFL Cup as they were hammered 6-0 at home by a second-string Brighton side.

Pisa vs Roma

Pisa are back in Serie A after a 34-year absence although their promotion-winning coach Pippo Inzaghi has left the club to take charge of second-tier Palermo. Presumably they made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Inzaghi's successor is another former Italy striker, Alberto Gilardino, but Pisa's forwards may struggle to break down a powerful Roma defence.
The top-flight newcomers benefited from an early own goal in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Atalanta while Roma, with Ireland striker Evan Ferguson leading the line, beat Bologna 1-0 in the capital.
Roma won seven of their final 11 league games to nil in 2024-25 so they are unlikely to offer their hosts any gifts to mark the return of top-flight football to Pisa.
