Form
Tottenham's unlikely title challenge has fallen away with consecutive defeats at Burnley and Chelsea and now it's all about trying to consolidate a Champions League qualifying spot with third-placed Spurs four points ahead of their north London neighbours.
Mauricio Pochettino's team have at least won 11 of their last 13 home matches, including a 3-0 dismantling of Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in their last outing at Wembley.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will arrive on enemy soil with three straight wins by an aggregate of 10-1, although home dates with Bate Borisov, Southampton and Bournemouth are hardly in the same calibre of what lies in store at Wembley.
The Gunners have been awful on the road, losing three of their last four, and claiming just two successes – against Huddersfield and Blackpool – in their last nine.
Tactics
Spurs are continually swapping between a back three and four, but tiredness is becoming an issue. Harry Winks and Heung-Min Son are starting to look jaded and Pochettino runs on a small squad which was not augmented in the last two transfer windows.
Unai Emery has also frequently switched formations and it was his move from a three-man defence to a back four which turned the tide Arsenal's way in the 4-2 Premier League success over Spurs in the reverse fixture at the Emirates.
Interestingly, Alexandre Lacazette was on the bench for both north London derbies this season – Spurs got their revenge with a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup – and the Frenchman has not been in the same starting 11 as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang since the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the start of February.
Team news
Pochettino is hopeful Jan Vertonghen will recover from a hip injury, but Dele Alli is unlikely to return just yet and Eric Dier has been sidelined with tonsillitis.
Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck remain long-term absentees and Arsenal must also check on Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Verdict
This looks an intriguing game, but one where the match prices are difficult to debate and the best bet could be to take the 10-11 that both teams score in a derby featuring at least three goals. That bet would have collected in 11 of Arsenal's 13 away league matches this season, including all four at the big six. Draw 2-2.
