Goalkeepers: David De Gea can keep out shot-shy Eagles

Rui Patricio (15) and Jordan Pickford (13) are the only goalkeepers to have accumulated more Fantasy Premier League points than David De Gea (12) this season and the Spaniard is worth a look as Manchester United prepare to play Crystal Palace this weekend.

The Red Devils have conceded just the one goal in their opening two assignments and even that was an out-of-the-blue screamer from Ruben Neves.

They have looked more defensively robust this term and after a match with Crystal Palace, who have drawn blanks in their last six visits to Old Trafford, their upcoming fixture list features games against Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle.

Defenders: Everton wing-back continues to impress

Everton wing-backs Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman have accumulated 28 points between the this season, and the Toffees are the only Premier League outfit yet to concede after matches with Watford and Crystal Palace.

Both offer plenty going forwards but with Digne expected to miss the Aston Villa match through injury, Coleman is the one to add to your team.

Marco Silva's men have a fairly soft run of fixtures coming up featuring Bournemouth (a) and Sheffield United (h) and it could be worth refreshing your side with the Irish right-back, who is a bargain at only £5.5m.

Midfielders: Riyad Mahrez and Dani Ceballos could be excellent additions

Ignoring the obvious can be a cardinal sin in punting and the same applies to fantasy football. Three of the four top-scoring midfielders in the league play for Manchester City and the cheapest option is £8.5m-rated Riyad Mahrez.

He has not been starting matches but he could stretch Bournemouth's rearguard if he comes on later in the match and he has performed well off the bench this campaign with three league assists.

Arsenal's Dani Ceballos has two and put in a man-of-the-match performance against Burnley last time out.

His versatility means a starting spot should be guaranteed against Liverpool and, given that fixture has thrown up 35 goals in the last seven meetings between the clubs, adding the Spanish midfield maestro to your ranks could be a shrewd move.

Forwards: Neal Maupay shows plenty of promise

Neal Maupay bagged 25 goals in the Sky Bet Championship for Brentford last season and he struck on his debut away to Watford on the opening weekend.

He came on from the bench in that match and against West Ham last time out, but his £6m price tag could become more enticing if he is handed his first start when Brighton host Southampton this weekend.

The Saints have shipped five goals in their first two games against Burnley and Liverpool and their back three are lacking in pace which could be punished by the young Frenchman.

He has picked up seven points from his two appearances and could be worth slotting into your team with matches against Burnley (h) and Newcastle (a) also on the horizon for the Seagulls.
