Manchester City 3-0 Crystal Palace

Manchester City looked imperious last week, putting five past Club Brugge in the Champions League before enjoying a 4-1 seaside romp at Brighton.

The Citizens are yet to concede a goal in four league matches at the Etihad this term, and, having beaten Palace 4-0 there and 2-0 at Selhurst, another routine victory seems likely.

Liverpool 3-1 Brighton

Liverpool look a frightening proposition for any side at present, let alone Brighton, and can keep up the heat on leaders Chelsea with a third home win of the season.

The Reds haven't been as devastating at home as they have on the road but Brighton aren't the sort of side to sit back and feed off scraps which should suit Jurgen Klopp's men down to a tee.

Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

In the space of nine months Thomas Tuchel has drilled Chelsea into a ruthlessly efficient winning machine - the odd unexplained blip aside.

The Blues make the most of their chances and have a world-class operator between their sticks, so it's hard to see how winless Newcastle will give them much to worry about at St James' Park.

Watford 1-1 Southampton

It's been feast or famine for Watford during Claudio Ranieri's brief reign, with a 5-0 home drubbing at the hands of Liverpool in the Italian's first game in charge followed by a five-star show of their own at Everton.

Things could be slightly more sedate against Southampton on Saturday. The Saints have drawn five of their nine league outings this term and it would be no surprise to see them involved in another stalemate.

Burnley 1-2 Brentford

Brentford are the only team in the bottom half yet to lose on the road and the Bees should fancy their chances of continuing their impressive start to the season against winless Burnley.

The Clarets have been typically dogged, especially at home, but they lack a killer instinct and it may come back to haunt them again.

Sheffield United 2-2 Blackpool

Saturday's match at Bramall Lane between Sheffield United and Blackpool looks fiendishly difficult to decipher but it is wise to bank on goals whenever the Blades are in action.

Three of United's last four matches have ended 2-1 while the other finished 3-2, but given opponents Blackpool have won five of their last seven in the league - so should be confident of taking at least a point back to Lancashire - it could be worth chancing an entertaining draw in Yorkshire.
