Stromsgodset's unbeaten home start to the season is under threat when Stabaek make the short trip to Drammen.

Toni Ordinas’s visitors are buzzing after holding Eliteserien leaders Rosenborg to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Keeper Mande Sayouba had an outstanding 90 minutes while ex-Arsenal hitman Nicklas Bendtner got no change out of Stabaek centre-back Andreas Hanche-Olsen and the hosts were well worth a point.

Flyer Moussa Njie was even compared to Neymar by Ordinas, and while the Spaniard might be overegging the youngster’s contribution, the 21-year-old does look a talent and a player Stromsgodset will be wary of.

Another is frontman Ohi Omoijuanfo, who is the league’s leading scorer with seven goals after the first eight rounds of action.

Stabaek are fifth and locked in what will be a competitive scrap for second spot – Rosenborg are certainties for the title – and Stromsgodset will also be hoping to get in the mix for a Europa League spot.

With no wins in three, however, they aren’t at their best as Tor Ole Skullerud, who guided Molde to the 2014 title, tries to juggle his new team after a massive winter overhaul.

A rebuilt defence – ex-Crystal Palace left-back Jonathan Parr is among the new recruits – is behaving itself but they are struggling to make an attacking impact with three-goal top scorer Marco Tagbajumi having failed to find the net in his last five.
