St Johnstone unlikely to get blown away by struggling Celtic
Bhoys can edge a close contest
Betfred Cup quarter-final
BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Wednesday
Creaking Celtic might just manage to get back to winning ways in Perth, but St Johnstone should keep it tight.
Brendan Rodgers is experiencing his first blip as Hoops manager and it's a major one after an appalling start to the season by their standards was topped off by losing to a last-minute goal at Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Saints were roundly thrashed by resurgent Rangers, but manager Tommy Wright is liable to tighten them up for this test.
With the squad Celtic have, it's safe to assume their slump won't last forever, but they are far too short to back on this form and preference is for them to edge a narrow win.
Recommendation
Celtic to win & under 3.5 goals
