Burton v AFC Wimbledon

Burton have been well backed for their home game against AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League One but at the prices the visitors merit an interest with the draw no bet.

Wimbledon are 3-1 in that market, despite winning their last three games after a testing start to the season.

The club confirmed on Sunday that Wally Downes has departed, having been suspended after admitting a breach of FA betting rules, but caretaker boss Glyn Hodges was in charge for a valuable 1-0 win over Portsmouth on Saturday.

They rode their luck against Pompey before Terrell Thomas scored a late winner. However, before that result they had scored seven goals in wins over Rochdale and Southend and they look too big a price to trouble Burton.

The Brewers lost 4-1 at Fleetwood on Saturday and, while Wimbledon are at the other end of the table, a home win is no banker given that Albion have failed to score in three of their four league games on their own patch this season.

Bradford v Port Vale

Bradford are starting to motor in League Two and they are well worth backing to extend their winning run to four matches with a home success over Port Vale.

The Bantams have won six of their last eight in the league and their three defeats this season came against sides in the top six: Forest Green, Cheltenham and leaders Crewe.

Vale don't appear to be in that class, particularly away from home as they have taken just three points from seven road trips, and they may well leave Valley Parade empty-handed.

Cheltenham v Macclesfield

Macclesfield had to wait until the 86th minute to score the only goal of the game at Oldham on Saturday but their trip to Cheltenham could be more entertaining.

Both sides are in good goalscoring nick, so the 10-11 that the game features goals at both ends is tempting.

Macc have found the net in eight of their last ten League Two matches, while Cheltenham's surge into the top five has been based on their attacking prowess.

The Robins' six home league matches have produced a total of 24 goals and backers of both teams to score would have collected in five of those games.
