Blackburn v Brentford 7.45pm

Nine of Blackburn's last ten matches have featured goals for both teams and there should be plenty of entertainment in store when Rovers face Brentford at Ewood Park.

Rovers, whose main threat comes from seven-goal midfielder Bradley Dack, should score for a seventh game in succession.

But they may struggle to thwart the Bees, who are chasing a sixth win in seven.

Hull City v Preston 7.45pm

Promotion-chasing Preston were well below their best when losing 1-0 at Derby on Saturday and they may suffer a second defeat in five days at the KCom Stadium.

North End may be without the services of key defender Ben Davies, who is struggling with a minor injury.

And any vulnerability could be seized upon by a Hull side boosted by the return of powerful striker Josh Magennis.

Middlesbrough v Barnsley 7.45pm

Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson has a reputation for being a patient man but his confidence in manager Jonathan Woodgate may be eroded by a poor result at home to Barnsley.

Struggling Boro have won just two league matches this season and look vulnerable favourites against the league's bottom side, who are responding positively to new head coach Gerhard Struber.

Sheffield Wednesday v Birmingham 7.45pm

Playoff-chasing Sheffield Wednesday have gone four games without a victory and may have to settle for a draw at home to Birmingham, who are just two points below them.

Birmingham came from behind to chalk up a creditable 1-1 draw at Huddersfield on Saturday and can achieve a similar result in South Yorkshire.
