Semi-final clash with unsettled Cork looks a great opportunity for Bohemians

Bohemians are value to beat Cork City on Sunday at Dalymount Park and advance to the FAI Cup final.

The Dubliners' form of eight successive wins is particularly worrying for the visitors given that Cork are in the worst shape they have been since John Caulfield took over.

Their last four league games, three of them at home, have yielded a single point and they shipped four against Bohs in their only away game during that spell.

Confidence looks to be low at Turner's Cross. The players were miles below their best against Dundalk last weekend, a night before a second-string Bohemians side won at St Patrick's.

Bohs deserve to be favourites in front of a raucous home crowd and odds-against about Keith Long's men with the draw no bet appeals. They are full of confidence and generally defending better.

Cork are the FAI Cup holders, and their players will be anxious to get back to the Aviva Stadium but it is hard to have any faith in them.

Dundalk are hot favourites at home to UCD but this should not be a cakewalk for the league champions elect. College topped the standings in Division One and should feel no pressure going into Friday's semi-final.

It should be an enjoyable game to watch and it could be even more enjoyable if you back both teams to score. Dundalk are banging in goals but Derry opened them up pretty easily in the midweek league fixture and UCD have a good deal of quality in attack.
