Hibernian held Celtic to a 0-0 draw on Sunday, but the Hibees may be on the end of a shock themselves at Dens Park on Wednesday.

The visitors battled admirably against the Bhoys, but they managed only 39 per cent possession and there is the chance that their weekend exertions could catch up with them at Dundee.

Hibs lost Martin Boyle in the January transfer window and fellow forward Kevin Nisbet picked up a serious injury at the weekend, leaving boss Shaun Maloney with a dilemma up front. Outside of that pair no other Hibs player has scored more than two league goals this season, so it's hard to see how they will be replaced.

Dundee are bottom of the Scottish Premiership and their 4-0 defeat against Livingston on Saturday hardly inspires confidence. However, new gaffer Mark McGhee will have had more time to work with his squad and captain Charlie Adam should be fit to return.

The hosts' chances of avoiding defeat aren't as forlorn as the prices suggest.

Ross County were 3-1 winners over St Johnstone on Saturday, but they gave up 15 shots in that game and Motherwell are unlikely to be as charitable as the Saints.

The Staggies have allowed 58 shots on their goal in their last four matches and have won just three of their 14 away league games this term.

Motherwell will be bouncing after snatching a draw at Ibrox on Sunday and the Steelmen can pick up another positive result.
