The Scottish Premiership regular season concludes this weekend and there is plenty still to play for.

Celtic may have effectively wrapped up the title with a win at Ibrox on Sunday, but there are just four points separating fourth-placed Dundee United and St Mirren in tenth.

There’s a Dundee derby at Dens Park to look forward to and Hearts and Hibernian also clash in an Edinburgh showdown on Saturday.

Hearts have established themselves as clear third-best in the SPL this term and that has been built on their excellent home form. The Jambos have lost just three of their 22 all-competition matches at Tynecastle this season and two of those reversals came against Rangers and Celtic.

The Edinburgh pair will duke it out in the Scottish Cup semi-finals next weekend and the Jambos look likely to go into that last-four contest following a league win.

Hibs have won just one of their last 12 SPL matches and it’s hard to see where the goals are going to come from. Martin Boyle was sold in the January transfer window and Shaun Maloney’s only other reliable goal threat, Kevin Nisbet, is out for the season.

The Hibees have scored only six goals in their last seven matches, compared to the 13 that Hearts have managed in their last dozen games. At even-money Robbie Neilson’s men look a good bet to get the Edinburgh double-header off to a winning start.

Livingston have lost three straight SPL matches and they could be vulnerable again when Motherwell come to the Tony Macaroni.

The Steelmen aren’t rock-solid at the back but they create chances and can put the ball in the back of the net. Motherwell were impressive 4-2 winners against St Mirren last time out and they look overpriced at Livi.
