Seldom have Rangers and Celtic arrived at an Old Firm clash at such a low ebb and the Glasgow sides will hope for a change in fortune at Ibrox this afternoon.
The Gers have made their worst start to a league season in 36 years and both Rangers and Celtic failed in their bids to qualify for the Champions League.
It's only four games into the William Hill Premiership campaign but the stakes are high at Ibrox and an Old Firm contest needs no added motivation.

Rangers vs Celtic preview
Rangers have failed to win any of their opening three William Hill Premiership games of the season and it’s 2-7 that their poor start is extended to four league games without success on Sunday afternoon.
The Light Blues were hammered 9-1 on aggregate in their Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge and the heat is most certainly on Russell Martin.
Matters are complicated after a whole host of players departed Ibrox in the summer and Nico Raskin id the latest to no longer be considered for selection, but transition or not, Martin and Rangers can not afford for the winless run to continue.
Celtic haven’t has the best summer but the Bhoys could open a nine-point lead on their Old Firm rivals with victory at Ibrox.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were awful when failing to score in 210 minutes of football against lowly Kairat in their effort to reach the league phase of the Champions League and the gamble to delay on signing new players has backfired.
Rangers have major issues, but it’s still tricky to want to side with Celtic at 17-20 this afternoon.
To put that price into context, the Hoops were sent off as 6-5 shots for the first Ibrox Old Firm clash of last season and Rodgers named a squad containing Nicolas Kuhn, Alistair Johnston, Kyogo Furuhashi and Adam Idah.
Fast forward to this afternoon’s contest, Kuhn and Furuhashi have left the club, Idah is on his way to Swansea and Johnston is missing with a hamstring problem.
Add in the injury to Jota, the lack of a proven top-level striker and it’s hard to see any value in Celtic’s price.
It’s early in the campaign but there is still a fair amount of desperation in the Ibrox air and taking both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks a play in what could be a frantic and wild clash.
There were 19 goals in five Old Firm games last term, four of those matches went over 2.5 goals and 15 of the last 20 have broken that mark.
Maeda could run into trouble
Celtic have a lack of striking options, and with Adam Idah heading for Swansea, the all-action Daizen Maeda is likely to lead the line. It would be no surprise if the Japanese forward ran into trouble in his efforts to close down the Rangers defence.
High-scoring draw can land
Neither Rangers or Celtic go into the first Old Frim game of the season in a position of strength and the Ibrox tie could well develop into a free-scoring frenzy.

Over 2.5 goals
Of the last 20 Old Firm contests, 15 have featured at least three goals, as did four of last season's five.
Danilo to score
Injury to Cyriel Dessers means Danilo is likely to lead the Rangers forward line and he can get on the scoresheet.
Jayden Meghome to be shown a card
Young full-back Jayden Meghoma could play in his firm Old Firm clash and the 19-year-old could find himself in trouble with he referee.
