Preview

Montrose continue to punch above their weight in Ladbrokes League One and look solid shouts to beat Dumbarton at Links Park.

The Gable Endies are entertaining to follow. They have been successful in three of their last four games, with the only defeat being a 4-3 loss at leaders Raith.

They can heap more woe on Jim Duffy's side. The Sons are on a rotten run, having lost four games this year before stopping the rot with a goalless draw against Airdrie last week. They have scored in just one of those matches.

Stewart Petrie's side will be hoping Blair Lyons, who has been signed by Partick Thistle but loaned back to Montrose, continues his recent run of goals.

In the same division, East Fife need a win against Peterhead to stay in touch with the leaders and they should get it at New Bayview.

The Methil side have done well to stick with Falkirk, Raith and Airdrie and have come through a sticky spell after last week's decent win against Dumbarton.

They face a Peterhead side who sold their talisman Rory McAllister to big-spending Ladbrokes League Two leaders Cove Rangers in the transfer window.

The Blue Toon have won only twice on the road in the 11 league games this season and one of those was at bottom-placed Stranraer. They have lost their last five league away games.

Darren Young's men can take advantage, with Scott Agnew and company looking to punish Peterhead.

Annan can end a dismal recent run of form at doomed Brechin in Ladbrokes League Two.

Brechin squandered the lead last week at Albion and were thrashed 4-1 but it could have been even worse.

It was a must-win game for bottom-placed Brechin, who simply folded and have players who look ill-equipped for the predicament they find themselves in.

Annan would surely have been odds-on if it wasn't for a puzzling recent run that has seen them lose six games in a row.

But with players such as Tommy Muir and Christian Nade, they should be doing better at this level and should turn the corner soon.

It could be at Glebe Park against a side who have taken just two points out of 21.
