Dundee can spoil new Hamilton boss Brian Rice's first game as manager by winning at New Douglas Park.

Accies parted company with Martin Canning this week, but Rice has been left with a moderate squad as he tries to save the Lanarkshire club from relegation, despite late additions.

Dundee are also in that relegation dogfight, but they look better equipped to survive as their deadline-day signings of Ryan McGowan and Scott Wright look decent.

They outplayed Motherwell at home last week and should have scored a few goals.

Ladbrokes Premiership standings

New manager Jim McIntyre has got them playing with more confidence and attacking intent than predecessor Neil McCann.

They were embarrassingly thrashed by Ladbrokes Championship side Queen of the South in midweek in the William Hill Scottish Cup, but staying up is their priority and they look overpriced to win against an Accies side who are in freefall.

Ross County can consolidate their spot on top of the Ladbrokes Championship by winning at Dunfermline.

Stuart Kettlewell's side have stuttered too many times this season, but they still look the best equipped team to win the league and immediately return to the top flight.

They travel to Fife to face the Pars, who haven't won in four games as the appointment of Stevie Crawford has had little impact.

County strengthened defensively this week with the arrival of Andy Boyle on loan from Preston and they have also brought in four more players this month.

In contrast, Dunfermline have been quiet and the Dingwall men can secure a big win this week at East End Park.

Motherwell have turned the corner recently and can win against poor travellers Livingston.

Stephen Robinson appeared to be under some pressure after a disappointing season and tame cup exits, but three league wins in a row have transformed their fortunes.

Key to the wins has been the excellent performances in midfield of young gun David Turnbull and he's been joined by fellow youngsters Jake Hastie and Allan Campbell in turning in some impressive displays.

Livi have surely done enough in the first half of the season to avoid being sucked into a relegation battle, but they've now lost four in a row in all competitions and haven't won away since August.
