Verdict

Bromley made a huge statement last week with a 5-0 thrashing of second-placed Halifax and they are looking to remain top of the pile when they travel to Wrexham.

The Ravens followed that impressive win with a 2-2 midweek draw with Stockport and their ability up front has led to them becoming title contenders, having scored the joint-most goals in the division and notched in every game since the opening day.

Wrexham, meanwhile, have suffered a real fall from grace, winning just one of their last 15 and dropping into the relegation places. While their three victories this season have all come at home, they look out of sorts and Bromley can add to their misery.

Notts County have turned Meadow Lane into a fortress and they can continue their good run of form when they host Hartlepool.

The Magpies have kept clean sheets in their last five league home matches and won five of their last six, helping to lift them into the playoff places.

Hartlepool were comfortable winners at Aldershot last week but they had been inconsistent on the road before that and could struggle to break through County’s rigid defence.

Torquay make the trip to Halifax and the visitors look a sound wager to come away with the three points.

The Gulls have won five of their last six, racking up 14 goals in that period. Halifax are have gone off the boil, failing to win or even score in their last three matches at The Shay.
