Ruthless Diego Rossi can strike again for Los Angeles FC
Expect goals in first LA league derby
MLS
Sky Sports Mix & red button, 8pm Saturday
MLS debutants Los Angeles FC have won their opening two matches in the Western Conference and should make their presence felt in their first league derby against LA Galaxy.
A 1-0 win at last season’s MLS Cup finalists Seattle Sounders followed by a 5-1 thumping of Real Salt Lake have shown the visitors are no mugs despite it being their debut season and they may have been underestimated by the layers for their first clash with neighbours Galaxy.
Former Sociedad striker Carlos Vela was their headline signing and he has hit the ground running, while his forward partner Diego Rossi has notched three goals in their opening two games.
Bob Bradley has his side organised well and they could trouble Galaxy, who have conceded in matches against Portland Timbers and New York City.
However, Galaxy are blessed with plenty of attacking options of their own. Star signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ola Kamara lead the line with Giovani dos Santos a constant threat from midfield.
Goals look a given between this exciting pair and the in-form Rossi could strike again for the visitors.
Recommendation
D Rossi to score at any time
