Derby have scored four goals in ten matches under new manager Nigel Pearson and the Rams could be blown away by Liverpool’s outstanding attackers in the EFL Cup third round tonight.

Two of Derby’s four goals came against Sky Bet League Two teams in this competition and they failed to convince in the previous round, scraping past fourth-division Carlisle on penalties.

Liverpool, in contrast, eased to a 5-0 victory at Burton in the second round and there could be more of the same at the Brewers’ near neighbours and fellow Sky Bet Championship club.
