Newcastle v Aston Villa | Norwich v Everton | Wolves v Bournemouth
Free football tips, best bets and analysis for Newcastle United v Aston Villa, Norwich City v Everton and Wolves v Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Newcastle v Aston Villa
BT Sport 1, 6pm Wednesday
Best bet
Newcastle
2pts 27-20 Coral
Team news
Newcastle
Sean and Matt Longstaff are doubtful and Florian Lejeune and Ciaran Clark are sidelined
Aston Villa
Frederic Guilbert and Danny Drinkwater may feature but Bjorn Engels is out.
Match preview
Their opening two games since lockdown have provided little evidence to suggest Aston Villa will claw themselves clear of the relegation zone and their position could be made even more perilous at St James' Park.
Dean Smith's side have claimed a return from only four of their 15 away league games this season and they could struggle to penetrate a Magpies defence who have kept four successive clean sheets on their own patch.
Steve Bruce's side scored more than two goals at home for the first time this season when they beat Sheffield United on Sunday and that should give them a massive lift.
Norwich v Everton
BBC1, 6pm Wednesday
Best bet
Over 1.5 Everton goals
2pts 20-23 Coral
Team news
Norwich
Christoph Zimmermann, Sam Byram and Grany Hanley are all out.
Everton
Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph are available.
Match preview
Basement boys Norwich were woeful in Friday's 3-0 defeat to Southampton and it looks a mighty task for them to avoid the drop now. There are certainly no grounds to be confident about their chances against Everton.
Many will be attracted to backing an away win at a shade of odds-on but there is a chance that the Canaries will wake up after being shocked by the Saints.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be an obvious first-goalscorer candidate if such markets weren't so trappy with games coming at such regular intervals, but ten of the 15 visitors to Carrow Road have scored at least twice and Everton can follow that trend.
Wolves v Bournemouth
BT Sport 2, 6pm Wednesday
Best bet
Wolves & over 1.5 goals
2pts Evs Betway, Coral
Team news
Wolves
Manager Nuno has a full squad to choose from.
Bournemouth
Josh King is doubtful with an ankle injury.
Match preview
Wolves eased past West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday and they should be able to dispose of struggling Bournemouth in an equally clinical manner.
Bournemouth look like another team who have given up the ghost -Palace hardly had to get out of second gear to see them off at the weekend - and they look vulnerable again.
Apart from a defeat against Watford, the only other team to have beaten Nuno's team since December 15 have been Liverpool and it is difficult to see the Cherries' cumbersome defence coping against them.
