Manchester United pulled off a 10-1 upset with a 2-1 victory at Manchester City to leave their rivals 14 points adrift of the Premier League summit.

Champions City were just 1-3 to claim a derby success but were two goals down after half an hour as United put in their best performance of the season.

Liverpool stretched their lead to 11 points with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth. Mo Salah scored the Reds’ third to condemn the Cherries to a fifth consecutive defeat. Jurgen Klopp's side are 1-10 to win the Premier League title, with Man City 13-2 and Leicester 25-1.

Everton, with club legend Duncan Ferguson in charge following the departure of manager Marco Silva, beat Chelsea 3-1 to move out of the relegation places and they have been pushed out to 14-1 to go down.

Richarlison opened the scoring for the Toffees after just four minutes while Dominic Calvert-Lewin added a brace.

Bottom side Watford also parted company with their manager in the week but could manage only a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace to leave them stranded on nine points having played a game more than the four teams above them.

Tottenham put five past Burnley as they shrugged off their midweek defeat to Manchester United.
