Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Newcastle were a shadow of their usual selves when they were beaten 2-0 by West Ham on Monday and will be hoping to bounce back against Crystal Palace, who have won just one league game all season.

Matches between these two teams tend to be tight, competitive affairs and this one could become scrappy too.

The Magpies are the second-most fouled team in the league behind Tottenham and referee Darren England is one of the most card-happy operators in the top flight. He is averaging 59.81 booking points since the start of last season.

Palace wing-back Daniel Munoz appears a prime candidate for a card as he looks set to line up against either Anthony Gordon or Harvey Barnes.

The Colombian has been booked six times already this season in all competitions and is fancied to add to that tally in this clash.

Brentford vs Leicester

Brentford are a different team at home and on the road, taking 16 points in their own back yard and just one on their travels.

They host a managerless Leicester side who have been floundering recently and the Bees could take full advantage.

Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo have taken all the plaudits this season but Mikkel Damsgaard is quietly having an impressive campaign.

Largely disappointing since the Bees brought him in following an eye-catching Euro 2020 showing, Damsgaard is finally producing for Thomas Frank’s side.

The Dane has three assists and a goal from ten starts and his expected assists tally is 3.2, which ranks in the top ten in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old is also on set-piece duties for Brentford and could help his side find the net against one of the leakiest defences in the division.

West Ham vs Arsenal

The standout player in West Ham’s win over Newcastle was winger Jarrod Bowen, who was razor sharp in their 2-0 victory over the Magpies.

The England international has four goals and three assists for the Hammers this term and broke his international duck earlier this month.

He remains an extremely dangerous player and with Arsenal suffering some injury issues in defensive areas, it could be worth siding with Bowen to either score or register an assist for the home team even if West Ham are outclassed.
