Free predictions and analysis for Saturday and Sunday's Premier League fixtures.

Newcastle United v Manchester City

BT Sport 1, 12.30pm Saturday

Newcastle are one of only four clubs to have beaten Man City in the Premier League in 2019 and they will like the fact that the champions haven’t kept a clean sheet in six games.

The Geordies have pace but may well struggle to keep out the inevitable blue tide.

Burnley v Crystal Palace

3pm Saturday

Only Watford have scored fewer goals this season than Palace, who are dropping down the table on a winless run of five games.

Those matches were as tough as a schedule gets, but Burnley away will be no picnic with the Clarets buoyant after back-to-back 3-0 wins.

Chelsea v West Ham United

3pm Saturday

The Hammers have a terrible record at Stamford Bridge, where they haven’t won on their last 14 visits.

West Ham were terrible for an hour or more at home to Spurs last week and have a keeper crisis. Frank Lampard’s free-scorers will probably have too much firepower.

Liverpool v Brighton

3pm Saturday

Both teams have scored in each of Liverpool’s last 11 games – though they have also won all six home league games and seem to find ways of getting over the line.

Brighton did, however, give Liverpool two of their more serious tests last year and won’t be blown away.

Tottenham Hotspur v Bournemouth

3pm Saturday

It’s two out of two for Jose Mourinho, perhaps unsurprisingly given Tottenham's opposition hasn’t been the strongest.

Just as unsurprising is that they have conceded four goals. This is not a top-class defence and even anaemic Bournemouth can land a blow or two.

Southampton v Watford

Sky Sports Premier League, 5.30pm Saturday

It’s no wins in eight for Saints, who have managed just five home victories in the league since the start of last season.

They have kept only one home clean sheet in 18 months, which ought to lift Watford, winners at Norwich on their last road trip.

Norwich City v Arsenal

Sky Sports Premier League, 2pm Sunday

Take on Arsenal’s wretched defence and you can flourish, as Southampton proved last week.

And if there’s one thing we know about Norwich it’s that they will take on opponents, no matter how supposedly superior they are. This could be more trouble for the Gunners.

Wolves v Sheffield United

2pm Sunday

Two of the Premier League’s brightest managers will attempt to outmanoeuvre the other at Molineux, where Wolves are pretty much unbeatable.

Don’t be fooled by United’s late cave-in against Manchester United - they are well organised and can frustrate their hosts.

Leicester City v Everton

Sky Sports Premier League, 4.30pm Sunday

Brendan Rodgers’ men look virtually unstoppable and should expect to make it six league wins in a row against the Toffees.

Everton are, however, inconsistent rather than awful, which doesn’t necessarily mean they will be rolled over.

Manchester United v Aston Villa

4.30pm Sunday

Villa have lost five of their six away games but they won’t fear a trip to Old Trafford as they once might have.

United were awful for long periods against Sheffield United and with four wins in 13 games they hardly invite a bet.
