Team news
Norwich
Norwich's injury list continues to shorten. Mario Vrancic (calf) is ready to return to the squad and Christoph Zimmermann (ankle) could be involved shortly after the international break. Timm Klose (knee) and Grant Hanley (groin) are out long-term.
Watford
Etienne Capoue (back), Troy Deeney (knee) and Ismaila Sarr (unspecified) returned to training on Monday but Craig Cathcart (back) is a doubt and Tom Cleverley (heel), Domingos Quina (groin) and Danny Welbeck (hamstring) are out.
Match preview
Norwich have taken only one point from six games since beating Manchester City 3-2 in September but they can get back to winning ways by defeating basement boys Watford at Carrow Road.
It might feel early in the season for talk of relegation six-pointers, yet there are worrying signs for both clubs, who will remain in the drop zone over the November international break.
The markets take a bleak view of their survival prospects with Norwich 4-9 for a swift return to the Sky Bet Championship and Watford 5-6 to go down.
The Hornets are probably better equipped to stave off the drop but they look desperately short of confidence after going 15 Premier League games without victory.
Their poor finish to last season was largely attributed to a loss of focus due to their involvement in the FA Cup final.
But losing became a habit and even a change of manager, with Quique Sanchez stepping in for Javi Gracia, has failed to halt the slide.
Injuries to key players haven't helped and the club received a massive boost on Monday when captain Troy Deeney and key midfielder Etienne Capoue resumed full training.
Capoue looks a strong candidate to return to the side at the expense of Nathaniel Chalobah but Flores has warned not to expect too much too soon from Deeney, who has missed more than two-and-a-half months since undergoing knee surgery.
Without Deeney, Watford have looked powder-puff in attack with nobody making a decent fist of the lone-striker role.
Gerard Deulofeu and Andre Gray are better suited to playing off a more physical striker and high-profile summer signing Danny Welbeck struggled for form and fitness before succumbing to a hamstring injury in last month's 1-1 draw at Tottenham.
The balance to Watford's attacking play hasn't been right and their six-goal league tally, two of them penalties, speaks for itself.
Norwich striker Teemu Pukki has scored as many goals as the Watford team but he hasn't found the net since the victory over City.
The home side's failure to build on their success against the champions was heavily influenced by an injury crisis, which peaked just before the October international break with nine senior players sitting out the 5-1 loss at home to Aston Villa.
Since then several players have worked their way back to full fitness and the only remaining problem area is central defence with Christoph Zimmermann, Grant Hanley and Timm Klose still unavailable.
Norwich should be close to full strength in midfield and attack and it might take just one moment to restore their confidence and get them back to playing the fluid, offensive football which was evident when they won 3-1 at home to Newcastle earlier in the campaign.
The Canaries look closer to rediscovering their form than Watford and are decent value to get the win.
Key stat
Watford have not won any of their last 15 league matches.
