Sunday's Premier League 1.30pm predictions

Manchester United vs Everton predictions

Ruben Amorim is off the mark as Manchester United manager thanks to Thursday’s 3-2 come-from-behind victory at home to Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League and he can claim his maiden Premier League win against Everton.

Amorim’s first taste of the English top-flight started with a 1-1 draw at Ipswich last Sunday but this looks a gilt-edged opportunity to build on that against the toothless Toffees, who are finding goals hard to come by.

Everton went into this weekend as the joint-lowest scorers in the division, having netted only ten goals in 12 outings, and they’ve failed to score in three, losing 1-0 at Southampton before goalless draws with West Ham and Brentford.

Sean Dyche’s side were unable to break down Brentford despite the Bees playing the whole second half with ten men and, even accounting for United’s teething problems, it is hard to make much of a case for them at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are evidently still a work in progress in the early stages of Amorim’s tenure but they may settle for a low-scoring win against an Everton side that remain so reliant on Dominic Calvert-Lewin for their attacking output.

Manchester United vs Everton team news

Manchester UnitedDefenders Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez have both returned to training this week but Jonny Evans must be assessed after missing Thursday’s Europa League win. Victor Lindelof and Leny Yoro remain sidelined.
Everton: Forwards Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti are nearing a return to full fitness but this match comes too soon. Captain Seamus Coleman is a doubt while James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam remain out.

Manchester United vs Everton predicted line-ups

Manchester United (3-4-2-1): Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez; Dalot, Mainoo, Casemiro, Shaw; Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund.
Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Doucoure, Gueye; Lindstrom, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin.

Manchester United vs Everton key stat

Seven of Everton’s last eight Premier League games have gone under 2.5 goals.

Best bet for Manchester United vs Everton:

Manchester United to win & under 3.5 goals

Tottenham vs Fulham predictions

Tottenham produced the best performance of the Ange Postecoglou era last weekend as they demolished Manchester City 4-0 and they are fancied to back that up with another league win against Fulham.

Spurs have not drawn any of their last 27 Premier League home games, the longest run in the top flight since 1964.

Their attacking approach makes them enthralling to watch, as demonstrated by their 2-2 draw with Roma in midweek.

The hosts came into this weekend the top scorers in the division and have won eight of the last ten league meetings between these two teams.

Marco Silva’s side, on the other hand, were beaten 4-1 by Wolves last weekend and have kept just two clean sheets in 12 games.

Tottenham remain without their first-choice central-defensive partnership and will have back-up goalkeeper Fraser Forster making his first league appearance in 18 months.

However, the hosts just look too irresistible going forward and are fancied to come out on top of a game in which both teams find the net, particularly as Fulham are missing key defender Joachim Andersen.

Tottenham vs Fulham team news

Tottenham: Cristian Romero is likely to remain on the sidelines, alongside Guglielmo Vicario, Richarlison, Micky van de Ven, Mikey Moore and Wilson Odobert. Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended while Dominic Solanke is expected to shake off a knock.
Fulham: Joachim Andersen, Harrison Reed and Jorge Cuenca are injury absentees. Sander Berge and Ryan Sessegnon are doubts.

Tottenham vs Fulham predicted line-ups

Tottenham (4-3-3): Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son
Fulham (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez

Tottenham vs Fulham key stat

Both teams have scored in five of Tottenham and Fulham's last six games

Best bet for Tottenham vs Fulham:

Tottenham to win & both teams to score
2pts 7-4 bet365
