Preview

The return of Wilfred Ndidi to defensive midfield after an injury-enforced stint in central defence will provide greater balance to Leicester’s team and allow the two players either side of him, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Youri Tielemans, to flourish.

James Maddison and Harvey Barnes have taken the plaudits for the Foxes’ attacking exploits this season but the influence of their two number eights should not be underestimated.

Only five players have accumulated more expected assists than Tielemans’ 1.7 this season and he also scored against Tottenham.

Against a Bournemouth defence that has allowed 19 goals already, the Belgian could have a major say and is fancied at 11-5 to score or register an assist.

Only Maddison and Barnes have had more shots than Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for Brendan Rodgers’ men and he has also made eight key passes this season. As a result, the 16-5 about the 24-year-old registering a goal or assist is also of interest.

Brentford’s Ivan Toney has had a strong start to the season, scoring five times already. He has also maintained his high yellow card rate, picking up two bookings in that run.

Before that the striker had been booked 37 times over the last four full seasons and can often be drawn into battles with his opposing central defender. Fabian Schar looks a likely candidate to have one such battle with the Bees forward.

As he faces his former club Newcastle, the 7-2 about Toney picking up another card is tempting.

Emerson Royal will miss Tottenham’s clash with Brighton after being sent off against rivals Arsenal last week and given Antonio Conte’s unflattering comments about both Matt Doherty and Djed Spence, it seems unlikely that the pair will come in to replace the suspended right wing-back.

The likelier scenario for this match against Brighton is that Ivan Perisic will shift over to the right side and Ryan Sessegnon will come in at left wing-back.

Sessegnon has registered five shots on target in the four Premier League games he has started this season and is worth backing at 12-5 to pick up another.
