Saturday's betting preview
Aston Villa were underwhelming in their Premier League opener against Bournemouth last Saturday, losing 2-0, and their lack of creativity was a cause for concern.
But a home clash with a leaky Everton side offers them the chance to return to winning ways and it should not be tough to find a way through the Toffees, who conceded in 17 of their 19 away games in the league last season.
Should Villa score, the player most likely to get on the scoresheet could be last season's top scorer Ollie Watkins.
The club's likely penalty-taker, Watkins was given only just under half an hour to make an impact in Bournemouth but should start this time and can build on his tally of 11 league goals in the 2021-22 campaign.
All eyes were on summer signing Gabriel Jesus in Arsenal's opening win over Crystal Palace last Friday but it was another Brazilian - Gabriel Martinelli - who opened the scoring for the Gunners at Selhurst Park.
Martinelli scored six goals and laid on six assists in last season's Premier League but looks even more assured of a regular starting spot this season.
He was a livewire in Arsenal's opening match and with the home crowd behind him at the Emirates, he can score or assist against Leicester.
With Harry Wilson injured and Fabio Carvalho having joined Liverpool in the summer, Fulham are without their top two assist-makers from last season but Bobby Decordova-Reid is a decent creative threat in the final third.
Decordova-Reid was lively in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool last weekend and laid on seven assists in last season's Championship.
At 4-1, he looks overpriced to set up a goal when Fulham travel to Wolves, who looked unconvincing in defeat to Leeds last weekend.
