Arsenal vs West Ham

Nuno Espirito Santo got an improved performance out of West Ham in his first game but the goal they conceded at Everton showed there is still work to do in one area in particular – defending set-pieces.

Michael Keane's header was the eighth set-piece goal the Hammers have conceded this term, which doesn't bode well for a trip to Arsenal, a side who have already scored seven from such situations this season.

Standing out in a team of giants is difficult but Gabriel Magalhaes remains the Gunners' biggest aerial threat. The Brazilian was the hero at Newcastle on Sunday, scoring the winner with a towering header, and could add to his growing tally by exploiting the aerial weakness of West Ham, who he has scored a career-high three goals against.

Everton vs Crystal Palace

It could be a tale of two wingers at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday, with Everton's Jack Grealish and Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr sure to be heavily involved in proceedings on Merseyside.

Everything the Toffees do going forwards goes through Grealish and teams are acting quickly to limit his impact, with the English winger drawing a league-high 22 fouls this term.

The right-back tasked with marking Grealish has been booked in three of Everton's last five Premier League matches and Daniel Munoz could be the latest to join that list.

The combative Colombian was booked ten times last season and is a decent price to earn his third yellow card of the campaign on Sunday.

While Grealish will dominate the build-up play, Sarr's impact is likely to come inside the box. The Senegalese winger has scored three goals in his last four starts and only five Premier League players have amassed a higher xG than his 2.7.

Jarrod Bowen scored West Ham's equaliser on Monday and it could be another right-winger who undoes the Toffees defence again.

Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest

West Ham aren't the only side struggling to deal with set-pieces as the ghosts from Ange Postecoglou's past are plaguing Nottingham Forest.

Three of the last four goals the Reds have conceded have come from set-pieces – an unsurprising fact given only three teams shipped more than Postecoglou's Tottenham from set-plays last term – and Kieran Trippier, a man with superb delivery, looks a big price to exploit that.

Trippier has plenty of big targets to aim for and the set-piece specialist could be the latest beneficiary of Forest's aerial shortcomings.
