Team news

Nottingham Forest
Willy Boly was injured in Wednesday's League Cup success against Wolves but Forest are hopeful that striker Taiwo Awoniyi will be fit after missing the last two games.

Leicester
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is fighting to be fit but both James Maddison, Dennis Praet and Boubakary Soumare are out.

Match preview

The intensity of this all-East Midlands clash should be guaranteed and it will have increased after the Foxes put Forest in their place with a 4-0 victory at the King Power in October.

City were inspired by James Maddison that day, but with the England midfielder absent and the backing of a loud City Ground crowd, we should see a much better effort from the Tricky Trees this time around.

And they should be at it from the off. Forest have drawn with Chelsea and beaten Liverpool on the banks of the Trent in recent months so they should not fear a visit from their nearest top-flight neighbours.

Brendan Rodgers's side, meanwhile, have left some of their better performances for away games and it is worth chancing that there will be more than one goal in the first half, which has occurred in eight of Leicester's 18 league matches this season.

Key stat

Leicester have scored the first goal in each of their last seven Premier League away games.
