It could be do or die for Ruben Amorim as Manchester United manager as the Red Devils bid to respond to last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Brentford when they welcome Sunderland to Old Trafford.
The Black Cats were surprise promotion achievers from the Championship last season but they have taken the jump up to the Premier League in their stride, suffering only one defeat in six.

Manchester United vs Sunderland preview
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may have been usurped by Ange Postecoglou in the sack race betting following the Australian's lacklustre start at Nottingham Forest, but anything other than victory at home to Sunderland would surely see the Portuguese heading towards the Old Trafford exit.
The Black Cats have defied pre-season expectations by picking up 11 points from six games on their Premier League return and the pressure surrounding Amorim will have them firmly believing that they can cause an upset.
United still have the look of a disjointed team despite their summer spending spree but that is factored into their price and, while not totally convincing, they have recorded consecutive home league wins over Burnley and ten-man Chelsea.
No clean sheet in seven suggests that chances will fall Sunderland’s way, but the Red Devils have had more shots than any other team in the Premier League this season (92 in six outings) and Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko may be able to propel them to a nervy but much-needed victory.
Man Utd vs Sunderland Bet Builder
Both teams to score
Both teams have scored in five of Manchester United’s last six matches.
Matheus Cunha to have 2+ shots on target
The Brazilian had four shots in defeat to Brentford last weekend and United are still creating plenty of goalscoring chances despite their lacklustre form.
Arthur Masuaku to be shown a card
The left-back has been booked twice in just 160 minutes of action for Sunderland this season and United’s pacy frontline will test him.
