Manchester United can carve out another narrow victory

United have laboured to draws in their last three league outings and they are 18 points behind rivals City, but even though the Cottagers have shown signs of improvement they have been woeful on the road, claiming a solitary point from eight away games.

Five of United’s six wins have come by one goal and a similar margin of victory looks likely.
